The trail leads through the forest to the Togeno Chaya tea house (closed). Beyond, it ascends steep stairs and a bit of climbing over large rocks, but the 360° view from the top is exceptional.
If you want a shorter hike, you can drive to the Togeno Chaya tea house carpark. It takes 25 minutes to the summit.
