The Shiga Kogen Golden Line, a unique triple-gondola system that is rare in Japan, begins at the Shiga Kogen Yamanoeki Resort Center.

The first gondola takes you to the Giant ski area, followed by the Bunadaira Gondola, which connects to the Hoppo Onsen ski area. Finally, the Higashitateyama Gondola reaches the summit, standing at 2,000 meters above sea level.

At the top, you’ll find the ROOFTOP Dining, the Shiga Kogen Garden Terrace and the Higashitateyama Alpine Botanical Garden, offering breathtaking views of the entire Shiga Kogen area. Visitors can also enjoy a coffee stand and a restaurant at the summit.
